Dave Newell is a leader in Computer Task Group’s security consulting practice, based out of CTG’s Buffalo, New York, headquarters. Dave has served clients in government, non-profit, and a variety of industries such as healthcare, health insurance, retail, manufacturing, utilities, and broadcasting. Dave has served as a CSO and CIO advisor for clients, developed policies and procedures for companies as well as two state governments, guided ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification efforts, helped organizations to comply with HIPAA and the PCI DSS, developed risk assessment and vulnerability tracking tools, and advised senior management and boards of directors.
